Title: Stress-Related College Drinking: Learned and Genetic Vulnerabilities
Principal Investigator: Dr. Howard Tennen
Description: This project involves examining the daily life behaviors of college students at the UConn Storrs campus to better understand college students' stress and drinking patterns. Students will be asked to fill out questionnaires online for a period of 30 days after completing a baseline questionnaire and providing a genetics sample. The genetics sample will be obtained by having participants spit into a small container several times over 2-3 minutes to provide a 3 ml sample of saliva. The study will recruit a new group of participants on campus each semester for four and a half years.

Eligibility Criteria: College students at UConn Storrs who drank alcohol at least twice in the past month
